Hello, I have an 86' Savage. It ran fine, but I let
it sit for a couple of weeks, then when I went to start
it, it wouldn't turn over. Of course, then I put the battery
on the charger, and I know for sure it's fully charged
now. I even jumped it (with the car off) from my
car to no avail. I don't hear anything at all, no
decompression or anything. The battery connections are
clean and tight, I've got the clutch in, I'm in neutral,
I've got the run switch on, and the key on. It is
getting power because the turn signals work as does the
horn and brake light. I ran a jumper directly to the
starter, and it turned over fine, but of course the
engine did not fire because it had no spark. So, my
battery and starter are fine. I checked the two 20 amp
fuses under the seat and they are fine. What else
should I do? Thanks. -Joshua a.
